The Overlook on Silver Lake

This is an example of the return of a "Neo-Traditional" style housing development. This style of design incorporates smaller streets, narrower lots and superior storm water and utility design to re-create traditional early American neighborhoods. The less restrictive building setbacks and closer house spacing creates a strong community feeling amongst the residents and promotes efficient use of the valuable lakefront property. Scott Engineering was successful in working with many government agencies to overcome restrictive zoning laws and storm water regulations to make this outstanding development a reality.
